Elusive Emu Remains at Large in North Carolina After More Than Three Weeks



Animal control officials in Orange County, N.C., haven’t seen an emu on the loose in a decade. An owner has not yet come forward to claim the emu. It’s 5 feet tall, weighs 100 pounds and has been running loose in central North Carolina for more than three weeks.
