A Swimmer Thrived After an Amputation. Then She Needed Another.



Morgan Stickney began training for the Paralympics after having her left leg amputated below the knee. But a familiar pain struck again. The New York Times Sports department is revisiting the subjects of some compelling articles from the last year or so.
